Expressions of Interest - NOPSEMA Audit and Risk Committee

Applications are invited for Committee member positions within NOPSEMA's Audit and Risk Committee, which meets on a quarterly basis.

The Committee has been established to provide independent assurance and advice to the Accountable Authority on NOPSEMA's internal control mechanisms, financial and business risks and compliance with its statutory obligations under the PGPA Act, PGPA Rules and Finance Minister's Orders.

NOPSEMA would like to hear from prospective applicants who can demonstrate the following attributes:

• Good understanding of Commonwealth agency compliance with the PGPA Act/Government regulatory frameworks

• Good understanding of the oil and gas industry and energy sector

• Finance background and/or robust understanding of risk management

• Previous experience/participation in an Audit & Risk Committee

• Understanding of Corporate Governance frameworks.
