Cost Recovery Implementation Statement 2022-23 now available

In accordance with the Australian Government Cost Recovery Guidelines Under, NOPSEMA has now published its Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) 2022–23 approved by The Hon Madeleine King MP Minister for Resources on 7 September 2022.

The CRIS provides information on how NOPSEMA implements cost recovery for the offshore petroleum and greenhouse gas storage industries in Commonwealth waters, and in State and Territory waters where powers and functions have been conferred.

The CRIS 2022–23 was prepared in early 2022 and provides NOPSEMA's financial assessments for the period 2022–23 to 2024–25. Regulatory amendment to effect the CRIS will be led by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources anticipated for early 2023.
