HSR Forum - positive mental health for our offshore workers, 8 Dec 2021

On 8 December NOPSEMA, APPEA and the ACTU delivered a short virtual forum for HSRs exploring challenges facing the offshore workforce around mental health. The forum included a presentation from registered Psychologist JC Lim from PeopleSense on mental health first aid.  A HSR from Shell Prelude shared experiences and some of the issues dealt with over the last 18 months. This was followed by a discussion forum for HSRs to ask questions and share their experiences. The forum was a great success with over 70 participants joining in and some really positive feedback. We look forward to the possibility of a face-to-face forum in 2022.
