NOPSEMA invites expressions of interest

NOPSEMA is pleased to invite expressions of interest from interested persons to join our Community and Environment Reference Group (CERG).

Members of the CERG will meet with NOPSEMA at least twice per year to provide the regulator with their perspective on issues relating to offshore petroleum environmental management and NOPSEMA’s administration of the Environment Regulations. Physical attendance at the meetings is not necessary as phone or video conferencing will be made available to CERG members with meeting outcomes published on the NOPSEMA website.

NOPSEMA is seeking to appoint members to the CERG whom have experience in the following: heritage and indigenous communities, conservation advocacy, small business and tourism. 

NOPSEMA is also seeking members whom can provide regional perspectives from the north-west, south-east and northern regions of Australia.

Members are expected to participate as individuals. They may bring more than one perspective but cannot participate as a representative of their employer or as an affiliate or representative of any particular organisation or group.
