NOPSEMA Stakeholder Briefing

Following the Federal Court decision in Santos NA Barossa Pty Ltd v Tipakalippa [2022] FCAFC 193, NOPSEMA is developing a guideline on how the decision will be applied to assessment of environment plans and offshore project proposals.

This guideline will be published for immediate use noting that further considerations may arise as assessments are undertaken and revisions may be required. The guidance will be open for comment for three months and updated based on feedback.
 
In advance of publishing the guideline NOPSEMA will provide a briefing to interested stakeholders at 11:00am on Thursday 15 December at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre - rooms 1 & 2. 

The briefing will include a presentation of key points in the guideline followed by a Q&A session.

The briefing will be livestreamed for stakeholders who are unable to attend in person.
