Safety improvement initiatives survey results

In 2012, NOPSEMA collected survey data from facility operators regarding the types of safety performance improvement initiatives being implemented at the time. A modified version of the survey was then re-administered in 2017 in consultation with the Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association, the International Association of Drilling Contractors, and International Marine Contractors Association. The Responses received from duty holders represented 85% of the facilities and 98% of the wells active in Australian Commonwealth waters.
