Updated EP Consultation Guidelines now available

Following the recent Federal Court judgements for Woodside vs Cooper and Santos vs Munkara, NOPSEMA has been working through necessary changes to published guidance documents. 

One of these documents, the NOPSEMA Consultation in the course of preparing an environment plan guideline has been updated to include key content to give effect to the case law in these judgements. 

While focusing on updates to key content from the recent federal court judgements, a number of other changes have concurrently been made to the Consultation Guideline including further guidance on the content of the consultation report and sensitive information part and changes to regulation references to reflect the remade Environment Regulations 2023.
